On December 27, 2020, the Daxing Airport to Xiong'an New Area section of the Beijing-Xiong'an intercity railway was opened to service, completing the full-line connectivity of the Beijing-Xiong'an intercity railway. The Xiong'an Station also began operation simultaneously.

The Beijing-Xiong'an Intercity Railway originates from Beijing West Station, runs along the existing Beijing-Kowloon Railway to Liying Station, and then connects to a newly built high-speed railway line. Heading south, it passes through Daxing District in Beijing, Langfang City and Bazhou City in Hebei Province, and finally reaches the Xiong'an New Area. The total length of the line is 91 kilometers, with a maximum designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The fastest travel time between Beijing West Station and Xiong'an New Area is 50 minutes, while the fastest journey from Daxing Airport to Xiong'an New Area takes just 19 minutes.

The HBTS80.18GT and HBTS80.16GT concrete pumping units manufactured by Huaqiang Jinggong are being used in the beam fabrication projects at the Gu'an West and Xiongxian beam yards for the Beijing-Xiong’an Intercity Railway project. The Gu'an West beam yard, located in Gu'an County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, covers a planned area of approximately 200 mu and is responsible for the prefabrication and erection of 409 box girders for the No. 5 section of the Beijing-Xiong’an Intercity Railway—the Guba Special Bridge. Among these girders, there are 393 spans of 32-meter double-track box girders, 14 spans of 24-meter double-track box girders, 1 span of 26-meter double-track box girders, and 1 span of 28-meter double-track box girders. The Xiongxian beam yard, situated in Wangjiatai Village, Xiongzhou Town, Xiongxian County, covers a total area of 155 mu and is tasked with the prefabrication and erection of 366 box girders along the high-speed train running lines and their adjacent sections (including the left and right tracks of the Shixiong Intercity Railway and the left and right tracks of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Taiwan High-Speed Railway’s Xiongshang section). Specifically, this includes 210 single-track spans of 32-meter simply supported box girders, 12 single-track spans of 24-meter simply supported box girders, 138 double-track spans of 32-meter simply supported box girders, and 6 double-track spans of 24-meter simply supported box girders.
